Our friend Turkey is back again!  This time he is trying NOT to be on the Christmas dinner table.   To save himself,  he goes straight to the North Pole to get help, but he had to try a number of disguises before he made it in to see Santa.  Of course, Santa comes to the rescue and Turkey is saved again.  These books are so much fun and children will love following Turkey’s many disguises and adventures.

This amazing book by Amanda Gorman is a must read for children and adults.   You may recall that Ms. Gorman is the youngest presidential inaugural poet in U. S. history.  This beautiful book is an optimistic look at change in the world and the importance of tolerance and love for each other.  The illustrations highlight Ms. Gorman’s insightful words.  This is a book to just read, enjoy and reflect.  This would be a beautiful gift for anyone on your list.

We now have a new favorite Halloween story, “The Little Ghost Who Lost Her Boo!”.  Little Ghost can’t find her “Boo” to scare people on Halloween, so she asks some of her friends to help.  Nothing seems to work out until the Little Ghost sees the reader of the story.  This book becomes interactive for children and they will love it!  Please put this one on your list!

This is our third book about Turkey and our fun friend does not disappoint.  School is starting and since the theme is “Farm Days”, Turkey is sure he can attend.  Unfortunately, he was turned away, so he had to try to disguise himself to get in.  As you can imagine, his disguises were not the best.  As always, it all works out at the end of our story.  This book is perfect as children begin returning to school.

This fun book has been around for awhile, but remains a favorite.  In our story, the dog Hally is a wonderful pet, but has very bad breath.  His breath is so bad that the Tosis family decide that he has to go.  No worries, a miracle happens and Hally is saved and becomes a hero.  This story is so funny and and the illustrations really help tell the story.
